The VEGGIETALES children's series stars adorable, computer-animated vegetables in family-friendly stories that foster Christian values and morality. This volume features two charming VEGGIETALES adaptations of classic bible stories that celebrate the importance of family. Transplanting the tale of Ruth and Naomi to medieval times, "Duke and the Great Pie War" finds rhubarb princess Petunia fleeing her war-torn country to live with her mother-in-law. Laura Carrot revisits the story of Miriam and Moses in "Baby Sitter in DeNile," while a special musical segment called "Larry's Blues" finds the silly cucumber unable to sing the blues because he is too happy.
