The only thing keeping this from being 'New' are 1-2 TINY cosmetic scuffs on the exterior (you really have to search for them), and there's nothing that affects the use or performance. Other than that this 'Made in Japan' camera is in EXCELLENT shape! The CANON 28-80mm Lens is smooth & quiet, and takes Sharp Photos! This Elan IIe is a significant upgrade from the Rebel Series, but this one is being offered for about the same $$!
